Our move to Florida in the 1980's was an enjoyable event, having experienced the winter weather that The Midwest offers by living in and around Chicago most of my life.

I then continued my career as an entertainer at Florida's Gulf Coast beach hotels and restaurants where the majority of my audiences were vacationers and tourists from around the world. Being a songwriter and recording personality allowed my listeners to influence a major portion of my stage shows. Thereby original songs like "Proud to Be American" (the true story of my father's immigration from Italy) -"Mackinac Island"- "Get Out On A Saturday Night" - "One More Time" - "Florida Beach Girls" and "Combin' Canada for You", were inspired, written,and performed nightly.

Now comes the song, "I Want Florida For Christmas". I was inspired by the variety of stories told to me by vacationers from around the U.S.A., Canada, UK, and Germany on everything that went into planning this vacation of theirs throughout the year. How to escape the cold and snow to come and play on our Florida beaches, not necessarily ON Christmas but FOR Christmas and send that familiar message to those back home -- Wish you were here!!!!  For a musical  sample  Go to the next page and press the link.
